DJ K.O. & the Elementality family are back at it again with the 9th installment in his year long EP series, Living Out A State of Mind. LOASOM Vol. 9 shakes things up a little and is all instrumental. Laudz Remixes Latest EP from Strange Fruit Project

M.A.S.K. (Making Art Sound Kool) was the first official release from the Waco, Texas trio, Strange Fruit Project, in over 3 years. After a few months they released the acappellas & instrumentals for all the producers and DJ’s of the world. Brazil took notice.
Laudz, an up & coming producer representing Curitiba, Brazil, was inspired to add his touch to the group’s release. The remix EP showcases his knack for infectious melodies and larger than life production. There is no doubt Laudz took these acappellas and made them his own.
As a member of the Elementality family, Laudz has produced tracks for artists like Silent Knight, MadKem & M. Josephine as part of DJ K.O.’s Living Out A State of Mind EP series.

Beat*Society & DJ K.O. Featured in iTunes Indie Spotlight

Picture These Remixes, dropping March 2nd, 2010, is one of the latest Hip-Hop releases to be featured in the iTunes Indie Spotlight. After a six year hiatus, Beat*Society has teamed up with DJ K.O. to remix his critically acclaimed album Picture This. DJ K.O. – The Perfect Blend

The years were 2005 through 2007 and I used to do blends all the time to play on my radio show on WRSU-FM (Rutgers University). I always thought it was dope to have something fresh and exclusive for the listeners you know?!!???!!?!! Well back in ‘07 I had put together a collection of those blends and made some promo copies to give away to callers and as freebies for shows that Silent Knight was performing at.
Recently I was going through some of my old files and came across the project again. If you’re into hearing something like Mobb Deep over some vintage J Dilla, then this might be for you…

J Dilla – Make Em’ NV (DaveNotti Remix)

It’s with the green light from one of Detroit’s Hip-Hop ambassadors to the World, HouseShoes, that producer DaveNotti brings a remix of “Make’em NV” by J Dilla to the masses. The track was originally released back in 2003 on Jay Dee’s Ruff Draft EP and later re-released by Stones Throw in 2007.
When Elementality Productions CEO, DJ K.O., askedDaveNotti why he wanted to remix one of J Dilla’s tracks he replied, “Who didn’t like Ruff Draft?!?! While all the beats on it were dope enough to not need ANY remixes, I definitely wanted to take a swing at it.” He continued to add, “For those wondering, this acapella was DIY’ed by yours truly.”
